Critical Incident Task Force (CITF)

The Critical Incident Task Force (CITF) has been developed in response to recent incidents, both at Missouri S&T and elsewhere, that have produced a new sense of concern relating to student behaviors.  The Task Force is designed to review procedures relating to problematic student behavior, especially those dealing with inter-department communication, consultation, and response.  Contact us at citf@mst.edu.

Members of the CITF work to achieve this mission by:

  • Documenting our processes related to high risk students.
  • Providing attention to individual privacy rights and the protection of community members.
  • Identifying standard cross-departmental communication protocols.
  • Adhering to FERPA, HIPPA, and Counseling Psychology guidelines as they relate to campus communication.
