Corporate Development Council

Corporate Development Council (CDC) is a group of industry professionals from Missouri S&T’s corporate partners that are interested in engaging and partnering with Missouri S&T. CDC members are invited to send one or two representatives to participate in bi-annual campus meetings. CDC members have the opportunity to engage directly with students while providing Missouri S&T valuable feedback on initiatives aimed at developing career-ready graduates. In conjunction with meetings, CDC sponsors student development events such as the Student Leadership Conference, Etiquette Dinner, Suit Closet and Miner Trek. CDC members serve as a point of contact for their company and help facilitate linkages between their company and the university.
Engaging Alumni and Employers to prepare S&T students for success in the corporate world.
- Actively participate in CDC meetings
- Interact with students wherever possible
- Work to have your company participate in one other activity on campus each year (speaking or participating in events or classes like FE 10, open house, recruiting events in your area, externships, faculty or student visits to your facilities, etc.)
- Seek financial support from your company for students at S&T. In addition to other support, each company is expected to contribute $600 annually to the CDC to cover the cost of the Student Leadership Banquet and other CDC events, such as the Student Etiquette Dinner, the Student Leadership Conference in January and other events involving students. The contribution covers two representatives from your company to participate in CDC events.
